I am an avid supporter of Charlie Locks Professional Skincare Company, Ethos and Products. This a small British company, they create and manufacture the products here in the UK and the thing I love the most (being a trained clinical aromatherapist myself) is the natural ingredients and use of the essential oils as the active ingredients in the products.
I currently use their skincare products myself and I use them in all the facials I offer in the Salon.
When Charlie Locks let us know that they have developed some amazing new products I was eager to try them out. So, that is what I have done over the past few weeks, I’ve tested on myself and couple of clients and we are very impressed with the results!
So, what are they and what’s different?
Well, the first product launched was the Superhero Eye Masks. These masks help reduce the signs of fatigue, fine lines, and lift and enlighten your eyes. These masks have been produced in collaboration with a French Company and use ground-breaking innovative technology. They have produced a mask that adapts to your eye contour like a second skin to form a fresh filmogenic gel. The ingredients include a patented formula to stimulate the collagen in your skin, it mimics it, and lasts around a week.
These Superhero Eye Masks can be used at home by clients once a week and incorporated into my facials offered in the salon.
The next product launched was Magic Lift Shaker Face Masks, available in two types.
1. The new magic shaker lift peel-off cool and calm mask with activated charcoal, ivy and sunflower is easy to prepare and quick to take effect. When mixed with water the powder becomes a smooth cream that spreads easily over the skin enveloping it in a cooling calming mask that will instantly soothe irritated skin. Suitable for all skin concerns but particularly those suffering from the effects of irritation, redness breakouts, and the effects of pollution.
2. The new magic lift shaker moisture quench mask with hyaluronic acid is rich in alginates and hyaluronic acid and fits perfectly to the contours of your face like a second skin. Alginate is a natural substance extracted from brown seaweed, and along with hyaluronic acid provides superior hydration thus quenching the thirstiest of skins. improving elasticity and giving a wonderful natural toned and lifted appearance.
Suitable for those requiring a hydration boost, and to reduce the appearance of fine lines and promote a natural lift.

Professional Grade Products for use at home:
As well as Charlie Locks Cleansers, Toners, Moisturisers that are available to purchase for use at home I now also have the Superhero Eye Masks and can order the shaker masks in. Both the Shaker Masks and Superhero Eye Masks are a must-have for post-professional at home treatments. Regular home use will help strengthen the skin barrier in between professional treatments and give an instant lift to reduce the appearance of fine lines and fatigue, whilst achieving a wonderful, toned appearance and natural lift. Think of it like going to the gym or a personal trainer, if you go once a month and do nothing in between then you will not see as much benefit but if you work out regularly at home in between sessions you will see an improvement, the same principle applies with your skin. It’s great to have a professional treatment every 4-6 weeks but using good quality professional products at home in between facials will enable us to work together to get your skin in great condition.

The active ingredient details:
D- panthenol also known as Provitamin B5 is soothing and moisturising and improves comfort and suppleness.
Collaxyl Is a patented peptide of the collagen structure. This ground-breaking ingredient improves the synthesis of type IV collagen.
Eyelis is a combination of 3 active molecules whose combination reduces under-eye puffiness.
Osilift is a 100% natural sugar tensor and is a purified polysaccharide derived from oats. This source of complex sugars adhere to the skin surface in a lifting continuous film that firms and tones the skin
Shaker Mask Lift & Peel Mask with Charcoal, Ivy and Sunflower
The active ingredients:
Activated Charcoal has absorbent abilities which allow it to retain toxins and sweep them away thus eliminating irritants and impurities.
Ivy and Sunflower combine in this instance to act against cytotoxic effects of pollution. The mask that it creates also acts as a protective screen which helps strengthen the skin's barrier effects.
Magic Lift Shaker Mask Moisture Quench Mask with Hyaluronic Acid
The active ingredients:
Hyaluronic Acid (sodium hyaluronate), is one of the most important components of the skin. With its powerful water-retaining ability, it plays a major role in the integrity of skin structure and the regulation of skin hydration. Applied to the outer layers of the epidermis, it forms a nonocclusive moisturizing film that gives the skin a soft & velvety appearance. It is a great moisturising agent.
