Why is waxing the best form of hair removal?

Waxing removes the hair directly from the root which prevents the hair from growing back for a lot longer than shaving and creams. Waxing can last up to 3-4 weeks and in places like the under arm or bikini area, not having the root can stop that grey/black shading you get straight after a shave!

How long does my hair need to be? For your hair to be waxed in the best and easiest way possible it should be at least 1/2 an inch, or about the size of a grain of rice. As soon as the hair starts to appear again this should only take a couple of days which gives you enough time to book your next appointment.

Who can get waxed? Anyone who is a teen to old age can be waxed safely, depending on your hair type and skin or any medical needs such as diabetes or eczema we will have a service suited for you. For example; on thick, long hair I would use a stronger wax than on someone with fine hair and delicate skin.

It is safe to be waxed when pregnant but we avoid doing so in the first trimester as with most beauty treatments. You may also find in pregnancy there is a higher chance of getting hair in places you usually wouldn’t such as the stomach, some people may not like this and it would be perfectly safe to get it waxed once you are past 12 weeks.
